How To Create Automations in LenzVU

Automations in LenzVU help streamline client interactions, reduce manual work, and ensure timely communication. By setting up automated workflows, you can trigger personalized messages, assign tasks, and manage client engagement effortlessly. Whether you’re sending milestone emails, follow-ups, or membership reminders, automations allow you to enhance efficiency and keep your audience engaged with minimal effort.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up an automation from start to finish, including defining entrance conditions, adding workflow actions, and setting exit criteria. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Log into Your LenzVU Dashboard #

Begin by logging into your LenzVU account and navigating to the Automation tab.

Step 2: Creating a New Automation #

  1. Click Add Automation at the top right of your screen.
  2. Set an Entrance Condition, which determines how clients enter the automation. This can be:
    • A Segment-Based Entry (e.g., clients who have reached a milestone or specific status).
    • A Real-Time Event (e.g., clients making a purchase, attending a class, or submitting a form).
  3. Select the appropriate segment or event to trigger automation.

Step 3: Adding Actions #

Click the Add Action button to define the workflow steps. Available actions include:

  • Tagging Clients: Add or remove tags to categorize clients.
  • Adding Notes: Attach internal notes to a client’s profile.
  • Assigning Tasks: Create a task and assign it to a staff member.
  • Sending Emails or SMS Messages: Create new messages or use pre-made templates.
  • Workflow Actions:
    • If/Else Conditions: Sort clients based on whether they meet a condition (e.g., membership status).
    • Add to Another Automation: Seamlessly transition clients into a different automation sequence.
    • Webhooks: Send data to external systems for integration.
    • End Automation: Stop further actions for that client.

Step 4: Setting a Wait Condition #

To control the pacing of automation, add a Wait Condition to delay actions. For example:

  • Wait a few days after an email before sending a follow-up.
  • Delay a message until a specific date.

Step 5: Setting Exit Conditions #

If you want clients to exit an automation upon meeting specific conditions, set an Exit Criterion by double-clicking the entrance condition. Examples include:

  • Exiting the automation if a client books a class after receiving a win-back campaign.
  • Stopping further actions if a client makes a purchase.

Step 6: Save, Review, and Activate #

  1. Give your automation a clear title and save it.
  2. Review the Reports Tab to track performance.
  3. If satisfied, click Activate to launch the automation.
  4. If edits are needed later, deactivate the automation, make changes, save, and then reactivate it.

Conclusion #

Congratulations! You’ve successfully created automations in LenzVU. These features help you optimize marketing efforts, enhance client engagement, and improve workflow efficiency.
