How to Import Contact Profiles from MailChimp into LenzVU

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to import contact profiles from MailChimp into LenzVU. This will allow you to seamlessly transfer your contact data from MailChimp, ensuring a smooth transition and efficient contact management.

Step 1: Export Contacts from MailChimp #

1. Log into your MailChimp account.
2. Navigate to the Audience section from the left-hand menu.
3. If you have multiple audiences, select the one you want to export.
4. Click the Export Audience button to download your contact list.
5. MailChimp will prepare a .zip file containing your contacts.
   • If the file doesn’t automatically download, go to Manage Contacts and select Export History, where you can manually download the file.
6. Inside this ZIP file, you’ll find the CSV file we’ll import into LenzVU.

Step 2: Import Contacts into LenzVU #

1. Log into your LenzVU dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Client tab.
3. Click the arrow next to Add Client in the top menu, then select Import Profiles.
4. Upload the CSV file you downloaded from MailChimp.
   • Remember to import no more than 500 clients at a time.
5. Match the appropriate information such as emails, phone numbers, and names to the example columns provided by LenzVU.
6. Once everything is mapped correctly, click Submit.
7. You’ll see a summary report showing how many client profiles were created or updated as a result.
